The Battle of the Somme was famously quoted as being “Hell on Earth”. The offensive, which took place between 1 July and 18 November 1916, was intended as a decisive breakthrough for the allies. Instead it became a slow battle of attrition.
It finally ended on 18 November with an area approximately 25 miles long by six miles wide won by the allies.
The Ridge is a high-octane paintball experience. A complex maze of trenches, dugouts and bunkers, make this game zone a truly awesome encounter. Your mission is to navigate the trenches, penetrate enemy defenses, capture the bridge and raise the enemy flag, all before tea!
